JAYCO 175BH Winterization Procedure Dated: 251027
   =============================================================

   PREPARATION
   -----------
o Purchase 2 (or more) gallons of RV Antifreeze
What to buy: RV Anti Freeze (good to -50 below zero)
Contains: Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ethanol, Red Dye.
Where to buy: Meijer ($4.99 per gallon)

   DRAINING
   --------
o Open water tank low-point drain
(located under front left of camper)

o Open both Hot and Cold low-point drains
(located under rear right of camper)

   ACCESS
   ------
o Remove bedding and foam pads from lower bunk

o Unscrew 2 screws (Philips head) in plywood cover
       and remove it

   PUMPING
   -------
o Pull out winterization tube & insert into RV Antifreeze
(make certain tube is all the way to the bottom of the jug)

o Run 12vdc water pump with Bathroom sink valves open
(this purges the line between the water tank to the pump)
(only requires being run for ~20 seconds)
Turn off Pump and Close the bathroom sink valves.

     o CLOSE the low-point drains (all 3)

o Turn valve (located near the pump inlet) so the handle lines
up with the clear tubing going to the RV Antifreeze jug

o Turn ON the 12vdc water pump
It will run for a few seconds to fill the water lines

     o TOILET:
         Depress the Toilet valve
Run until it changes from water to RV Antifreeze
Leave a little antifreeze in the Toilet so the BALL SEAL
	 remains submerged

     o BATHTUB:
Run BOTH Hot and Cold until water is purged and only RV
Antifreeze is coming out. Run enough to fill the TRAP.

     o BATHROOM SINK:
Run BOTH Hot and Cold until water is purged and only RV
Antifreeze is coming out. Run enough to fill the TRAP.

     o KITCHEN SINK:
Run BOTH Hot and Cold until water is purged and only RV
Antifreeze is coming out. Run enough to fill the TRAP.

NOTE: RV Antifreeze should go into the sink/bathtub TRAPS in
sufficient quantity to keep them protected throughout
            the Winter

o Open each low-point drain, one at a time, briefly until
it runs pink. Then close the valve.

   CLEANUP
   -------
o Wipe up RV Antifreeze from Bathroom Sink, Bathtub, and
       Kitchen Sink to prevent staining

o Return valve near Pump to its original position

o Stow clear hose inside pump compartment

o Re-attach plywood cover over the pump access (2 screws)

o Replace bed cushion and bedding

   EMPTY HOLDING TANKS
   -------------------
     o Open Black/Grey pipe cover
(twist counterclockwise - there is a plastic "wrench" in
        the storage compartment, if needed)

o Open both BLACK and GRAY water slide valves
BEWARE!!! A mixture of water and RV Antifreeze will pour
                  out onto the ground

o Once empty, close both slides and replace pipe cover

   WATER HOLDING TANK
   ------------------
Optional: Pour any remaining RV Antifreeze into water tank.
The less Antifreeze in the water tank, the easier
it will be to flush out in the Spring to eliminate
	      the odd taste.
